Jacqueline Baxter photographer

Traditionally a time of celebration, of rich green pine trees and warm reds and golds, this photo emphasises the coldness of a season deprived of the warmth and sustenance of family and friends. The Cardington Hangars, a famous landmark set within the Bedfordshire countryside, stand proud in the distance, whilst the foreground is covered with snow. The foreground appears vast, signifying the psychological distance we must travel in order to get through the winter.
